MCKL is Sailing up North

02 Nov 2020

Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) will launch its first branch campus – MCKL College (Penang, Pykett Campus) this August 2021. This initiative is in line with MCKL’s mission to explore higher education opportunities and facilities in the northern region as we continue in the best of Methodist tradition to provide quality education, striving to be an “Institution of Excellence for Life”.

The branch campus will be located on a 4-acre site at the former Pykett Methodist Primary School, Lebuhraya, Pykett, Georgetown. The campus will boast full-fledged modern college amenities within the grounds of the carefully restored and upgraded pre-war building.

Students who enrol in the Penang campus will experience the same flagship education offered at the Kuala Lumpur campus, ranging from the renowned Cambridge A-Levels, Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) programme and its Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

Established to further the mission of MCKL, it will provide greater education opportunities and alternative pathways with modern tertiary programmes to equip the community with lifelong learning skills and professional careers relevant to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0).
