Job Description
As a Counselor:
1. To conduct psychoeducation for students/faculty and the public
2. To provide individual/group counseling for students and faculty
3. To assist in the development of policies and protocols pertaining to mental health management


If teaching:
As a Lecturer:
1. To conduct teaching in Psychology-related modules allocated by the respective Heads of
2. To develop, implement and mark assessments for the above modules
3. To work in collaboration with other faculty in improving teaching and assessment at the
personal and team level.
4. To contribute to curriculum revision on an ongoing basis.



  • Registered Counselor with the Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia
  • Minimum Masters degree and Bachelor degree in Psychology
  • Experience in providing individual and group counseling
  • Experience working with young people (middle, late adolescents and/or early 20s)
  • Competency in conducting mental health literacy
  • Communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability/flexibility
  • Resilience (particularly in managing stress)
  • Self-awareness/self-management
  • Independent (ability to work without much supervision)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary and terms of service will commensurate with qualification and experience.
