Officer, University Placement & Alumni Unit (UPAU)

What will you be doing?

 

  • Advising students on their choices of their University and course after they have completed their studies at Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL).
  • Handling and assisting students in their Universities applications, both local and overseas. This includes checking and reviewing of students’ personal statements, references, certificates, transcripts, and application forms before applications are submitted, managing and follow up on students’ admission process into Universities.
  • Advising and guiding students in writing personal statements; preparing students’ testimonials for the University applications; and conduct mock interviews for University/scholarship interviews.
  • Hosting guest lectures/talks/presentations from overseas and local Universities plus organizing and conducting in-house talks and workshop sessions to prepare students for their University applications.
  • Liaising and building rapport with University representatives and education agents.
  • Keeping record of University placement and doing the necessary data analysis for reporting of each year.

 

Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is : 

 

  • At least a Diploma holder in any related field.
  • Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia in both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) will be an added advantage.
  • Strong in administration skills and passionate in customer service.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
